How does anonymous story viewing work?

StealthPeek fetches content from public Instagram profiles through our own infrastructure. Your visit is never connected to the profile, so the account owner cannot see you in their viewer list. From the owner's side, it looks like any other view. Try it in the anonymous viewer; it takes one step.

Do I need an Instagram account or login?

No. You never log in with Instagram credentials, and you never share your own profile with us. You only need a username to look up: that is all. See every tool on the features page.

Will the account owner see me in their viewer list?

Does it work for private accounts?

No, and be wary of any tool that claims otherwise. Instagram does not allow third-party tools to access private content, and services that promise “private account viewing” are almost always scams that harvest credentials or payments. StealthPeek works with public profiles only. We would rather lose a sale than lie to you about this.
