How does anonymous story viewing work?
StealthPeek fetches content from public Instagram profiles through our own infrastructure. Your visit is never connected to the profile, so the account owner never sees your username in their viewer list. A story request carries an account of ours, never yours. Try it in the anonymous viewer.
Do I need an Instagram account or login?
No. You never log in with Instagram credentials, and you never share your own profile with us. You only need a username to look up: that is all. See every tool on the features page.
Will the account owner see me in their viewer list?
No. Because StealthPeek retrieves stories through its own infrastructure rather than your account, your username never appears in the story viewer list. A story lookup does register a view against an account of ours, so a new name can appear there on a small account, and that name is never yours. Does it work for private accounts?
No. Instagram does not allow third-party tools to access private content, and no service can change that. Sites that promise “private account viewing” cannot deliver it, whatever the page says. StealthPeek works with public profiles only, and we tell you that before you enter a username.
What can I view with StealthPeek?
For any public profile: active stories (24-hour window), story highlights, posts and reels, profile information, follower and following lists, likes on a public post, reposts, comments, and tagged photos. You can also download stories, photos, and videos in original quality, which means the largest version Instagram stores.
Is StealthPeek free?

Is anonymous viewing legal?
Viewing content that someone published publicly is generally not illegal, though third-party viewers operate outside Instagram’s terms of service. Is it safe?
StealthPeek requires no Instagram credentials and nothing installed on your device. Keep two rules in mind anywhere in this niche: never give a viewer site your Instagram username and password, and never install software from one. Viewing is a web function, so neither step is ever necessary.
How fast are results?
A lookup is never queued. You enter a username, the search runs, and the results appear in the viewer as Instagram serves them. We do not print a time, because the response depends on Instagram rather than on a queue we control.
Do you store my data?
A search opens a session, and the results live in that session rather than being stored against you. There is no account to create and no history of what you looked up. Why do some viewer tools stop working?

What happens to stories after 24 hours?
Active stories disappear from profiles after 24 hours, unless the owner saved them to highlights, which stay until the owner removes them. Instagram Plus adds Story Extend, which keeps a subscriber’s story live for 48 hours instead of 24.
